LISCON is participating in the Tri-ICT Open Border Community program which is funded by the European Union aiming at a  better interweavement of the Italian and Austrian economy.

After attending the congress in UDINE we provided our knowledge regarding sever based computing this time in Villach, Austria. The keynote was held by Manuel Arens of Google about Vacation in the future: Business models of the tourism economy in the technology-driven change.

Many of LISCON's customers are based in the tourism sector, one example being Travel Europe with its offices in Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia and Poland. All of these offices are using Thin Clients of LISCON and are managed centralized with the LISCON Management Console. Travel Europe being just one expample, LISCON shared knowledge at the event and showed that server based computing is perfectly suited for the tourism sector.
